Isha has done modeling for L’Oreal, Rexona, Coca cola, and Camay etc. Her first film was in the Tamil film industry. She was paired with the Tamil actor Prashant in the movie Kaadhal Kavidhai. The film was a hit and Kopikkar won the Filmfare award for the Best Female Debut. The second film that she did in Tamil was “En swasa katre”, opposite Arvind Swamy.

Isha’s first Hindi movie was “Ek tha Dil Ek thi Dhadkan”, directed by Shah Rukh Khan, that is yet to be released. In Bollywood, Isha initially did many guest appearances in movies such as “Fiza”, “Pyar Ishq aur Mohabbat” and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. However she shot to fame only with the item number “Khallas” in the movie Company. From then onwards, she was called the “Khallas girl”. Some of her most significant movies were “Dil Ka Rishta”, opposite Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal. She was also nominated for the Filmfare award for the Best Villain category in the year 2003, for her negative role in the movie “Qayamat”. In the movie “Girlfriend”, she played the role of a lesbian.

Her other movies include, “D”, “Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya”, “Kya Kool Hai Hum”. In the movie “Don”, released in the year 2006, she played the role of the Don’s girlfriend. Isha has many more movies to her credit and has carved a niche for herself in the industry. She has done charity work for PETA.
